The purpose of the role is to deliver sustainable profitable growth for Atlas Copco Rental Norway Offshore business The rental sales engineer will use product technical knowledge along with sales skills to provide advice and support on a range of ACR Rental products, You will assist colleagues with bids and tenders for new and existing offshore clients from a technical perspective.
Here’s what you’ll be responsible for:
- You will identity current and future customer service requirements.
- You will enlarge our client portfolio by identifying potential customers through cold calling.
- You will prepare cost estimates by studying P&ID, Project plans, and related customer documents.
- You will analyse cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies or service applications.
- You will keep your technical knowledge up-to-date by attending e.g. educational workshops.
What talents will you need to be successful?
- You have mechanical education at higher professional degree, bachelor level or master level, or equivalent by experience with at least 3 to 5 years of experience.
- We appreciate you having an understanding of compressed air and power systems but this is certainly not a must have.
- You are able to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner.
- You have a solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in O&G rental air compressor solutions and O&G rental market.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Norwegian
- Willingness to travel (20 to 30 %).
- You are a real teamplayer who likes to share knowledge with colleagues.
- You are a sales driven professional who can work independently and can come up with your own action plan.
- Our depot is in Stavanger, but the location of our customers is the most important place where you will operate from. This role is a hybrid role, which means that you can also work from home.
