Business controller

Your role
Mission:
The successful candidate will serve as a strategic partner and an integral part of the management team of Atlas Copco customer center company of CT business area in China. This position will report to and work closely with the General Manager and take responsibility for the control and guidance company’s financial results, including forecast, analysis, risk evaluation and management, and oversee company administration. He/She needs to support the General Management for the best practices in all areas, especially in financial control and digitalization.
Job Description:
- To be Responsible for all financial and management reports in conformance with Group practice and procedures (FAM) as well as specific company requirements.
- Actively participate in company result presentations in board, executive and management meetings.
- Establish, review, upgrade and improve internal policies and procedures.
- Work in coordination with Business Area and Division Controllers regarding Sales company issues as required.
- Handling of internal and external auditing requirements.
- To be proactive, with a core business and customer focus, making sure that red flags are highlighted and action plans are put in place.
- To implement and promote all sections of the Group guideline, “The Way We Do Things” , throughout the company.
- Lead to improve the system tools in business department for operational efficiency and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Integrate all sales order process in all regions to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Develop competence through training of Finance department personnel.
- Supervise the team to follow up and analyses product costing as well as of functional and all other relevant costs in 5 different Divisions.
- Lead the credit team and supervise all credit and collection activities.
- Supervise tax & treasury team for complex accounting activities related to legal company including 3 BAs, to maintain the complete and accurate general ledger, to take charge the resultant financial statements.
- Ensure that adequate administrative processes and procedures are implemented.
- To be responsible for the work result by Customer Care and administration team.
- Take a lead to establish and improve purchasing processes in the company for efficiency improvement and cost reduction.
- To be responsible for possible upgrades of working systems such as ERP and CRM in the company.
- To take a lead on providing accurate and prompt business reports for 5 divisions by applying latest digital technology the Group applied.
To succeed, you will need
Experience requirements
- At least 10 years working experience in finance and/or Business Controller position and 5 years managerial experience.
Knowledge
- Familiar with accounting principles and local statutory rules, a very solid knowledge and experience in finance, accounting, tax, administration procedures and information systems.
- Analysis, planning and organizational skills are necessary.
- Has proven track record of providing excellent business control and support service.
- A genuine interest in all aspects of business operation, and an ability to lead projects in business control.
- High proficiency in Chinese and English language, both written and spoken.
- Demonstrate experience with ERP and SAP experience will be a plus.
Educational requirements
- University degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent.
