Workshop Zone Leader

Your day-to-day
- Take ownership of overall team performance, including safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency KPIs.
- Fulfill safety responsibilities in daily work, proactively identify and eliminate potential safety hazards, and ensure safe operations.
- Ensure the implementation and compliance of workshop’s 5S standards (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain).
- Ensure all work is carried out strictly in accordance with SOPs, and complete service documentation and related records in compliance with Leybold or customer requirements.
- Possess maintenance and repair capabilities across all core product lines and demonstrate the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of new products.
- Continuously and effectively follow up on pending issues and difficult issues, provide technical support to other technicians.
- Be familiar with customer applications, deeply understand customer needs, and be able to provide technical training to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Establish / update work-related documentation, records, SOPs, and reporting templates based on actual needs.
- Be responsible for the maintenance and repair of workshop equipment and facilities to ensure their up-time and utilization rate.
- Collect and analyze workshop operation data and KPI performance, implement improvement actions, and provide regular reports.
- Coordinate with internal and external customers regarding in-house repair needs, appropriately prioritize tasks, meanwhile balance efficiency.
- Fully leverage service center resources to support the sales team, including but not limited to opportunity development, application validation, training, spare parts support.
- Continuously optimize work processes and improve operational efficiency while effectively controlling operating costs.
- Manage team members’ objectives and performance, clarify and implement development plan for both the team and individual members.
- Continuously optimize team’s competence and motivation while maintaining high employee satisfaction.
- Promote and uphold the Atlas Copco Group’s “The Way We Do Things” and “Code of Conduct” within team.
- Remain prepared to take on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Your skills and experience
Education Level
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of management experience in service workshop.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in equipment maintenance or repair.
- Experience in mechanical assembly, vacuum pump repair, or equipment repair is preferred.
Knowledge
- Good hands-on practical skills and communication abilities.
- Good PC and MS office skills
- Good English reading and writing skills
