Your Role - The Business Analyst acts as a key bridge between the Business and IS by translating Business needs into detailed requirements and technology-enabled use cases, supporting high-complexity Products. They develop a deep understanding of the opportunities, risks, and issues facing the Business, and advise on how technology solutions can be used to achieve / resolve them


To succeed, you will need

  • Requirements Gathering & Translation: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements and user stories, ensuring alignment with system capabilities and best practices.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve workflows across business functions and AEM initiatives.
  • Collaboration & Design: Work with the Product Owner, Solution Architect, and business stakeholders to design high-level system flows and define potential technology solutions.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Perform functional testing to ensure solutions meet business needs, working with QA to validate functionality and document test cases.
  • Technical Support & Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert (SME), supporting technical delivery and providing guidance on system behaviour and integration.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, functional specs, user stories, and process workflows.
  • Security & Compliance: Collaborate with the Product Owner to identify and address security and compliance requirements, especially for sensitive data handling.
  • Training, Support & mentorship: Develop training materials and deliver sessions to end-users and support teams, ensuring smooth adoption and usage.
  • Flexibility: Assist in operational tasks related to monitoring and maintaining the IT infrastructure for AEM servers

 

Skills / Knowledge / Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business administration or related IT Engineering field.
  • ExperienceOver 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst with a strong background in the IT industry, including technical knowledge of AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) or Power Platform tools. Strong understanding of business domains (e.g., Manufacturing, Engineering, IT) and how technology addresses related challenges.
  • Technical Expertise - Proficiency in AEM Digital Asset Management (DAM), Digital Rights Management (DRM), and content management systems. Experience with Power Platform tools, SharePoint, and MS Purview for data security would be an added advantage. Experience in process modelling (BPMN knowledge a plus) and analysing business challenges using structured methodologies. Basic knowledge of software engineering, data security, and risk management is a plus.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving - Strong skills in developing technology-enabled use cases, and translating business needs into technical solutions. Detail-oriented, with the ability to deliver high-quality work in fast-paced environments.
  • Agile Methodologies - Experience with Agile practices (e.g., SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) and managing defects in Agile environments.
  • Communication - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Certifications - Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) or Agile certifications are a plus.
  • Autonomy - Ability to work independently, manage projects autonomously, and contribute to cross-functional team success.
