Atlas Copco BLM s.r.l. is looking for a  Technical Writer to be included in our R&D Department.

He/She will report hierarchically to the Test and Documentation Line Manager and He/She will report functionally to the Project Manager(s) of the project(s) he/she is involved in.


Main Duties

 

  • Write and update User Guides with description of the products* and their features
  • Write and update Service procedures for the maintenance of these products
  • Write and update Safety information
  • Manage images to insert in these documents
  • Assure that documentation is compliant with technical guidelines
  • Accurately evaluate the effort for the documentation activity
  • Work with proficiency within the project team participating to release planning
  • Manage translation process workflow

              Occasional activities

  • Provide support to the Line Manager in his/her line activities

 

              *Torque measurement devices, data collectors and software

 

 

Main Competences needed

 

  • Education: Degree
  • Fluent in English, mainly written, other languages are a plus
  • Previous experience in the same role (3 years)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs, mainly Word
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Curious, to support the development of innovation & new way
  • Ability to clearly summarize complex procedures to the intended user

 

               Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Schema ST4 CCMS
  • Knowledge of document compliance to EN 61010-1:2010 standard
  • Basic certification on technical writing (for example Cherryleaf Technical Writing Course)
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies applied to software development
