Atlas Copco BLM s.r.l. is looking for a Technical Writer to be included in our R&D Department.
He/She will report hierarchically to the Test and Documentation Line Manager and He/She will report functionally to the Project Manager(s) of the project(s) he/she is involved in.
Main Duties
- Write and update User Guides with description of the products* and their features
- Write and update Service procedures for the maintenance of these products
- Write and update Safety information
- Manage images to insert in these documents
- Assure that documentation is compliant with technical guidelines
- Accurately evaluate the effort for the documentation activity
- Work with proficiency within the project team participating to release planning
- Manage translation process workflow
Occasional activities
- Provide support to the Line Manager in his/her line activities
*Torque measurement devices, data collectors and software
Main Competences needed
- Education: Degree
- Fluent in English, mainly written, other languages are a plus
- Previous experience in the same role (3 years)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs, mainly Word
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Curious, to support the development of innovation & new way
- Ability to clearly summarize complex procedures to the intended user
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Schema ST4 CCMS
- Knowledge of document compliance to EN 61010-1:2010 standard
- Basic certification on technical writing (for example Cherryleaf Technical Writing Course)
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies applied to software development
