Position Overview

As an C&B Specialist, you will manage key HR disciplines encompassing employee relations, comprehensive compensation and benefits programs, disciplinary procedures, and policy governance.

Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations (ER)
- Provide expert handling of employee grievances, conflicts, and workplace concerns with professionalism and expediency to maintain a positive work atmosphere.
- Lead confidential internal investigations addressing workplace harassment, misconduct, or violations of company policies, ensuring fairness and due process.
- Champion a respectful and compliant working environment through clear communication, training initiatives, and proactive engagement activities.
Disciplinary Action & Rewards Management
- Administer disciplinary procedures aligned with internal policies and applicable Korean labor legislation, ensuring consistency and thorough documentation.
- Mitigate potential organizational and legal risks by applying proactive measures in employee relations and disciplinary actions.
- Collaborate on designing and managing reward and recognition programs that support a performance-driven culture, encouraging productivity and employee motivation.
Compensation & Benefits (C&B)
- Oversee comprehensive salary structures, manage annual compensation reviews, and implement performance-based incentive programs to attract and retain top talent.
- Effectively administer employee benefits, including insurance schemes, leave policies, and retirement plans, ensuring competitive and compliant offerings.
- Conduct regular compensation benchmarking and labor market analysis to maintain Edwards Korea's position as a competitive employer in the industry.
HR Policy & Compliance
- Develop, review, and update HR policies, procedures, and guidelines to reflect changes in legislation and best practice standards.
- Ensure rigorous compliance with Korean labor laws, internal governance, and ethical standards; prepare and support internal audits and compliance controls.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate HR policy compliance seamlessly across the organization.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience with specialized expertise in Employee Relations and Compensation & Benefits management.
- In-depth knowledge of Korean labor laws, disciplinary procedures, employee relations strategy, and HR legal risk management.
- Robust analytical capabilities, including quantitative and statistical analysis relevant to compensation benchmarking and HR metrics.
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in Korean and English, enabling effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse organizational levels within a highly matrixed and global business environment.
