HR Intern – People & Culture

The HR Intern supports the People & Culture team in creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace while gaining hands-on experience across a variety of HR activities.

During this six-month internship, the intern will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, wellbeing, Diversity & Inclusion (D&I), HR operations, and C&B support.

Working closely with the People & Culture team and employees across the organization, the intern will support day-to-day HR activities and various people-related initiatives while developing a broad understanding of the HR function.

About the role:

  • Recruitment & Onboarding Support: Support recruitment activities including job posting, interview coordination, candidate communication, and preparation for new employee onboarding. Assist in ensuring a smooth and positive candidate and new hire experience.
  • Employee Engagement & Culture: Support employee engagement and workplace culture initiatives, including employee events, recognition activities, team-building programs, and other activities that promote collaboration and a sense of belonging.
  • Wellbeing & D&I: Assist with the planning, communication, and operation of employee wellbeing and Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) initiatives and campaigns.
  • HR Operations: Provide administrative support for day-to-day HR operations, including employee documentation, HR data management, filing, and preparation of HR-related materials and reports.
  • C&B Support: Support Compensation & Benefits administration and related HR activities, providing the opportunity to gain basic knowledge and practical experience in C&B processes.
  • Internal Communication: Assist in preparing and communicating HR announcements, newsletters, presentations, and other employee communications through appropriate internal channels.
  • HR Projects & Events: Support various People & Culture projects, employee events, surveys, and other HR initiatives as required.
  • Data & Reporting: Assist in maintaining HR data and preparing basic reports and analysis related to recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and other HR activities.

To succeed in this role, you should be able to:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
  • Have a strong interest in developing a career in Human Resources / People & Culture.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in Korean and English.
  • Good organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Able to handle employee and company information with appropriate confidentiality.
  • Proactive, willing to learn, and comfortable working on multiple tasks.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive and service-oriented mindset.
  • Previous internship, project, or extracurricular experience related to HR is an advantage, but not required.
