Edwards Korea, part of the global Atlas Copco Group, is seeking a dedicated and proactive Learning & Development Specialist to join our team at the PC Asan site. Position Overview

As a Learning & Development Specialist, you will lead the design, implementation, and management of comprehensive learning programs that enhance employee skills, promote leadership capabilities, and embed Atlas Copco’s foundational values of inclusion, diversity, and wellbeing throughout the organization. You will play a pivotal role in strengthening our organizational culture and driving changes that support the professional development of all employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic Learning & Development plans tailored to support business goals and elevate workforce capabilities.
  • Conduct thorough training needs analyses using a range of diagnostic tools including job analysis, surveys, interviews, and active collaboration with business unit leaders to accurately identify employee development requirements.
  • Create and deliver impactful training programs featuring leadership development, competency frameworks, and skills enhancement initiatives designed with adult learning principles in mind.
  • Design, prepare, and maintain training materials, manuals, and digital learning resources to support effective knowledge transfer and retention.
  • Assess the effectiveness of all training interventions through metrics and feedback, driving continuous improvement and ensuring alignment with evolving business needs.
  • Manage training budgets prudently, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost-efficiency.
  • Support internal stakeholders including managers and trainers by providing expert guidance and solutions to address training and development challenges.
  • Collaborate with external training providers and educational institutions to leverage additional learning opportunities and expand the company’s development offerings.
  • Lead initiatives to cultivate a positive and inclusive organizational culture, promoting employee engagement and wellbeing aligned with Atlas Copco Group’s core values and ethics.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Learning & Development roles, preferably within a manufacturing or technical environment.
  • Deep understanding of adult learning theories, methods, and best practices for talent development.
  • Proven track record in designing and delivering leadership development, talent management, or organizational effectiveness programs.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills capable of engaging diverse audiences.
  • Strong capability to work both independently and collaboratively on multiple projects, managing time and priorities effectively.
  • Robust planning, influencing, and stakeholder management skills to build consensus and drive initiatives forward.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential to operate within a global business context.
  • Familiarity with digital learning platforms and tools is an asset.
