Your Role
Role Overview
The Field Service Engineer provides high-quality service and technical support for the complete portfolio of turbo machinery (Turbo Compressors and Turbo Expanders) across the MEA region and Pakistan. This role serves as the primary technical interface with customers, ensuring efficient execution of service orders, troubleshooting, and delivering training. Extensive travel is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, preventive maintenance, inspections, and overhauls on turbo machinery.
- Execute workshop activities and prepare work/time schedules for service orders.
- Compile risk assessments, method statements, and inspection/testing plans.
- Deliver detailed service reports and documentation post-job completion.
- Recommend spare parts, upgrades, and machine enhancements to customers.
- Conduct overhauls on LNG vessels (both sailing and dry dock).
- Engage with product companies to resolve technical issues and customer queries.
- Train customer personnel on operation and maintenance of turbo machinery.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and site-specific safety plans.
- Support aftermarket data projects in collaboration with the sales team during idle periods.
- Maintain flexibility for extended hours, weekends, and on-call schedules.
To succeed, you will need
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Relevant technical certifications or trade qualifications.
- Minimum 3 years in servicing, maintaining, and repairing rotating equipment.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of turbo machinery and related systems (mechanics, hydraulics, lubrication, seal gas).
- Familiarity with instrumentation and control systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and reporting capabilities.

Work Environment & Safety
- Exposure to natural gas processing environments, loud noise, and inclement weather.

- Must be capable of using breathing apparatus and handling hazardous gases.
