The Operations Planning Manager is responsible for designing and maintaining advanced data analytics and planning tools to support operational excellence at Edwards Genesee. This role ensures that planning systems are aligned with current technologies and industry standards, enabling clear communication and efficient decision-making across the site. The OPM serves as the SAP planning subject matter expert and leads planning activities across A&T, Manufacturing, Demand, and Supply functions, with a strong emphasis on supply planning to ensure optimal resource allocation and inventory management.

What you will do:
- Develop and present S&OP responses with data-driven options to address demand fluctuations.
- Champion the development and continuous improvement of internal KPI monitoring systems.
- Interface with Customer Centers to manage commitment and forecast delivery data for production and spare parts.
- Deliver weekly operational status reports and KPIs using best-practice tools to track adherence to plan, efficiency, and performance.
- Own the development and optimization of planning tools and reporting processes.
- Collaborate with Factory Planners, Logistics, Finance, and Materials Management to define and manage inventory policies and processes.
- Provide actionable insights into material availability and lead improvement initiatives.
- Lead planning data cleansing efforts, including reviewing planning parameters and constraints.
- Ensure the master planning tool effectively translates S&OP data into quantifiable inputs.
- Act as site Champion and SME for SAP reporting on commit vs. actual and shortage metrics.
- Promote and enhance the use of SAP ERP data for reporting and analytics via Power BI.

- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in planning, preferably in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Advanced SAP ERP expertise, including data analysis, reporting, and planning functionality.
- Strong interpersonal and team collaboration abilities.
- Effective communication and influencing skills across organizational levels.
- Solid understanding of material management and operational processes.
- Experience with LEAN or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proven strategic involvement with measurable impact on company performance.
- Expertise in scheduling, production management, and planning systems.
- Proficiency in MS Office, SQL databases, and Power BI.
- Analytical mindset with experience in both qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Working knowledge of supply chain and manufacturing planning.
