Service Engineer for Atlas Copco Specialty Rental - Eastern Denmark

At Atlas Copco Special Rental we are looking for a Service Engineer to join our team and support our reliable delivery of around-the-clock solutions for temporary air, power, water, and steam needs.

Your role

As a Service Engineer in Atlas Copco Specialty Rental Denmark, you ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our rental fleet at customer sites and within the workshop. You support industrial projects during installation, commissioning, operation, and demobilization phases, guaranteeing optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

You play a key role in maintaining fleet quality, executing preventive and corrective maintenance, and upholding safety, environmental, and health standards during all interventions.

In this role, you are responsible for field service interventions, workshop activities, fleet maintenance, technical problem-solving, and providing on-site support to customers and colleagues. Your work ensures operational continuity, compliance with service standards, and a high level of safety awareness.

You collaborate closely with the the operations team to coordinate planning, parts, tools, and reporting. You also contribute to improving the rental fleet by identifying enhancements and executing technical upgrades when required.

Your job responsibilities include

• Executing service activities at customer sites (connection, start-up, operation, disconnection).
• Testing and inspecting machines after rental or repair, ensuring compliance with internal standards.
• Conducting preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Providing technical support to colleagues and share expertise to strengthen team capability.
• Actively participating in the company’s safety culture and comply with all safety, environmental, and health rules at customer sites and in the workshop.
• Supporting industrial customer projects from start-up to completion to ensure flawless operation and customer satisfaction.
• Participating in the 24/7 on-call service rotation, taking ownership of assigned interventions.

To succeed, you will need

• A strong technical background and a solid technical understanding.
• Motivation to work with and be trained further as a service technician in the technologies under the scope of Atlas Copco Specialty Rental.
• If you have experience with diesel engine maintenance; knowledge of compressors, generators, or electrical schematics, that’s a plus.
• Strong administrative and communication skills.
• High level of Danish and English profeciency.
• Able to work safely, independently, accurately, and with attention to detail.
• Team player with a customer-friendly attitude and flexibility.
• Willingness to travel, including occasional foreign or offshore assignments
• Willingness to exhibit flexibility and a customer-focused attitude in all service interactions.
• A valid driver's license - we will provide a service van.

Job location

This role requires you to work on-site at our customers' sites, mainly in the Eastern part of Denmark and at our depot in Albertslund. Therefore, it is an advantage if you are based in the Greater Copenhagen Area.
