Your role:

Atlas Copco is looking for an On-Site Technician in Alliston. You will work at our Alliston facility and report directly to the Field Service and TMC Regional Team Leader.  As an On-Site Technician you will participate in different missions through several activities including tool repair, calibration, software upgrades, new system configuration and customer support. At Atlas Copco you can create your own career path and we will help you develop your technical skills to achieve your dreams.

 

Roles and responsibilities include:

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair complex electro-mechanical devices using our industry-leading troubleshooting methodology for tool service
  • Perform preventative maintenance and calibration of customers tools and quality equipment using Atlas Copco's SPIRIT asset management system
  • Complete software upgrades and testing of working devices
  • Setup new systems for customers and perform pre-delivery tests
  • Work with global engineering and quality teams to investigate customer issues and improve product performance
  • Special projects

 

To succeed, you will need:

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree from an accredited college, university or technical / vocational institution
  • Preference will be given to graduates in an Electro-Mechanical, Electronics or Technology program
  • Mechanical aptitude, enjoy taking things apart and getting them back together again
  • Comfortable collaborating in a team environment
