Workshop technician

Your role

As a Workshop technician by Geveke Pompen in Amsterdam, is your mission that you are responsible for providing practical assistance to customers. You must have a strong sense of solution-finding and a service-oriented approach. You will ensure that equipment submitted for repair, overhaul, maintenance, assembly, or testing is processed correctly and on time to provide the best possible service to the customer.

You will

• troubleshoot,
• prepare repair and inspection reports
• analyze parts to be replaced
• commission new and reconditioned pumps/units

To succeed, you will need

To perform this role well, you possess the following qualities and characteristics:
• Customer focus
• A vocational (MBO) degree (or equivalent through experience), level 4 technical specialization
• Interest in (or knowledge of) measurement and control technology is a plus
• Pneumatic and electrical knowledge
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• VCA-Vol or VCA-Basic certificate
