DC logistics engineer

- Process Design & Optimization
- Design and improve warehouse layouts, workflows, and material flows using LEAN principle.
- Develop practical solutions for picking, packing, and storage efficiency.
- Identify bottlenecks and propose improvements based on data insights.
- Data Analysis & Performance Management
- Track and analyze logistics KPIs such as lead time, productivity, and inventory accuracy.
- Share insights to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.
- Prepare reports and recommendations to support decision-making.
- Automation & Digitalization
- Support the use and improvement of RPA, WMS, TMS, and related systems.
- Explore and apply automation tools (AGV, AS/RS, robotics, conveyors).
- Drive digital initiatives such as IoT, RPA, and barcode/QR-based solutions.
- Safety & Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Create safe traffic flows to separate forklift and pedestrian areas.
- Standardize handling and packaging to reduce errors and damages.
- Project Management
- Lead or support projects such as new warehouse setup, relocation, or expansion.
- Work closely with internal teams and 3PL partners on improvement initiatives.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables effectively.
- Cost Optimization
- Improve labor planning and operational standards.
- Optimize transportation routes, mode selection, and freight costs.
- Strengthen inventory management to increase turnover and reduce carrying costs.
- Improve & optimize logistics cost allocation process
Skills/Knowledge/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in logistics engineering, warehouse optimization, or supply chain improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Excel, SQL, or BI tools preferred.
- Knowledge of WMS/TMS systems; experience with automation and LEAN is a plus.
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- English proficiency preferred for global business environments.
