Business Process Engineer Sourcing

What does a business process engineer sourcing do at the Atlas Copco Group? As a business process engineer sourcing, you will become part of a dynamic procurement organization where you act as the key link between the Sourcing department, IT, and the wider business. Your primary responsibility as a business process engineer sourcing is to maintain, improve, and optimize digital solutions, applications, and dashboards across a broad stakeholder landscape. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will translate departmental needs into concrete IT specifications, automate master data flows, and leverage AI to unlock efficiency gains. In this role, you will play a critical part in our ERP transition towards SAP (GEMS) by serving as a key user, safeguarding end-to-end compliance, coordinating system testing, and driving user readiness. Additionally, you will lead training sessions on core sourcing tools like Be2NET, Medius, and Power BI, ensuring smooth digital rollouts both locally and across international product companies.
In this role, you will report to the sourcing manager and work via a hybrid model at our facility in Wilrijk.

Master’s degree in IT, Business Engineering, Economics, or an equivalent technical field

Strong proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, with specific expertise in Power BI

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, SharePoint, and a strong interest in learning SQL

Prior experience with ERP environments or specialized tools like SAP, Be2NET, Medius, or Esker is a major asset

Excellent professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken, to navigate an international network

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site.
