Cloud Center of Excellence Lead
Your role
Atlas Copco is accelerating its digital transformation, with cloud technologies playing a central role in how we build, deliver, and operate business solutions across the Group.
As Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) Lead, you will define and drive the cloud strategy, operating model, and capabilities that enable our business areas to innovate at scale. You will lead a team of cloud specialists and work closely with business stakeholders, architects, delivery teams, and strategic partners to ensure our cloud platform remains secure, scalable, cost-effective, and easy to consume.
This is a leadership role that combines strategy, technology, and organisational change. You will help shape how cloud services are adopted across Atlas Copco, balancing governance with agility and ensuring that teams can move faster through standardisation, automation, and self-service capabilities.
Success in this role is measured not only by the strength of the platform itself, but by the business value it enables. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, translate business needs into platform capabilities, and foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation within the CCoE.
Key Focus Areas
- Define and execute the vision and roadmap for the Cloud Center of Excellence.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of cloud specialists.
- Drive cloud adoption and business value across Atlas Copco.
- Establish scalable governance, security, and operational practices.
- Promote platform engineering, automation, and self-service capabilities.
- Manage strategic partners and ensure effective service delivery.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Business Areas and Group IT.
- Identify emerging technologies and opportunities that strengthen the cloud platform and accelerate innovation.

- A strong sense of ownership, accountability, and delivery focus.
- A growth mindset, with a passion for learning, mentoring, and developing people.
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms, cloud architecture, and modern service delivery models, preferably within Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with areas such as cloud governance, platform operations, DevOps, automation, security, cost management, or reliability engineering.
- The ability to balance business objectives, technical requirements, and operational excellence to deliver sustainable outcomes.
