Design Engineer Mechanical Engineered Solutions

Your role

As a Design Engineer Mechanical, you will translate customer needs into tailored compressor, dryer, and accessory solutions. You will develop and assess technical alternatives, identify risks, and select the most effective solution. You are responsible for the design and modification of technical drawings and parts lists, writing procedures, and ensuring the safety and quality of your designs through risk analyses. 

You support technicians throughout the production process, resolve technical issues, and validate the work of peers. You will collaborate closely with suppliers (in coordination with the purchasing manager), competence carriers, and various internal teams.

You’ll also support the quotation team in translating specifications into machine requirements and selecting the right components. In close collaboration with the project team, you’ll contribute to compressor designs, promote standardization, and ensure centralized data sharing within the Global Engineering team. You will report to the Engineering Team Leader of Engineered Solutions Oil-Free.

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
• Knowledge of CAD systems (Inventor/AutoCAD) and ENOVIA.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
• Affinity for mechanical design and product optimization.
• Initiative, problem-solving mindset, and team spirit.
