Your role

At the Power Technique Business Area, we are seeking a passionate Project Engineer with a strong focus on data and sustainability to join our Sustainability Team. In this role, you will contribute to integrating newly acquired companies into our sustainability reporting processes, helping us advance our commitment to climate goals.

You will play a central role in integrating newly acquired companies into our carbon footprint calculation model, which supports reporting against our Science Based Targets (SBTs). In close collaboration with the acquired companies and our IT department, your responsibilities will include:
•    Understanding product working principles and their impact on carbon footprint
•    Reviewing and updating the carbon footprint calculation code as needed
•    Managing sales and product performance data for manual reporting
•    Evaluating data quality and calculation accuracy
•    Automating data collection and footprint calculations
•    Aligning with the GEMS project and adapting the SBT tool according to its timeline
•    Supporting new developments such as: a sensitivity analysis tool or avoided emissions calculations
•    Familiarity with our current product portfolio is a strong advantage
Willingness to travel is essential to:
•    Meet and collaborate with local teams
•    Understand product functionality and carbon footprint implications
•    Set up robust data collection processes and ensure data quality
•    Deliver training on the Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) calculator and Circularity tool

We are looking for someone with a strong mix of technical expertise, business insight, and a genuine passion for sustainability and continuous improvement.
•    Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
•    Experience with cloud-based data platforms, preferably using Microsoft Azure
•    Strong communication skills—able to convey complex topics clearly in both written and spoken English
•    High level of initiative, drive, and self-management
•    Enjoys working collaboratively across disciplines and geographies
•    Comfortable navigating complex challenges and creating clarity

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site in Antwerp, Belgium (BE).
