Your Role

 

Based on further expansion of Low Pressure we will install Regional BDMs for the key industry segments in Low Pressure regionally. This function will be to cover North America.

 

As the Regional Business Development Manager for North America, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth, providing technical expertise, and leading strategic initiatives within the low-pressure applications sector. Key to your success will be regular customer visits, ensuring strong relationships and understanding of their needs to effectively drive business development.

Next to the regional role you will also play a pivotal role in the global development of the mining segment. You will define the global strategy, identify global key accounts & OEM’s and develop a relationship with their headquarters.

This role encompasses two key responsibilities:

 

  1. Regional Business Development Manager – North America:
    • Increase sales within the North American region by identifying and securing new customers.
    • Develop and implement strategies to expand market share and enhance customer relationships.
    • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
    • Serve as the subject matter expert for low-pressure applications and products.
    • Provide technical support and training to local sales engineers, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet customer needs.
    • Support the regional water business in close cooperation with the Global Business Lead Low Pressure – Water.
    • Develop and execute strategies to enhance the water segment's performance and market presence.
    • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers within the water sector in the region.

 

  1. Global Business Lead - Mining:
    • Lead the development of the mining segment on a global scale, defining strategies and action plans to drive growth.
    • Collaborate with global teams to align segment initiatives and leverage best practices.
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify key opportunities and challenges within the mining sector.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Share knowledge and insights across the organization, developing training materials and maintaining information repositories.
  • Promote energy audits and sustainability initiatives within key accounts.
  • Lead the development of key accounts and OEMs, creating and executing action plans to increase customer share.
  • Ensure data quality and consistency in reporting, facilitating transparency and informed decision-making.
  • Coordinate with technical, pricing, and service teams to address customer needs and enhance service delivery.

      In this Function you will report to the Global Business Lead Low Pressure - Industry.

 

To succeed, you will need  

  • Proven experience in sales within the mining segment.
  • In-depth knowledge of low-pressure product portfolios and applications.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with global stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel as regular customer visits is required.
