Senior Designer T&I

Your role
As a senior designer, you play a key role in the Technology & Innovation (T&I) team of the Portable Air Division, where you contribute to the long-term development of mobile compressors and breakers. In this role, you help transform early-stage concepts into qualified building blocks and proof-of-concepts that support a faster and more reliable product development cycle. You will report to the team coach compressors, and you will work on site in Antwerp within a hybrid setup.
You translate ideas into concrete designs, creating 3D concepts and 2D technical drawings with the required tolerances. You coordinate closely with our external design partner Gecia, setting clear targets, aligning timelines and ensuring smooth follow-up. You prepare and release parts lists, develop functional specifications for components and interact with suppliers to select the right parts and technical solutions.
You will actively support the prototype phase from ordering components to following up the assembly process together with project owners and you process feedback to refine the design. You also help structure and safeguard technical knowledge in our PACT platform so the organization can build on validated insights. This role is diverse, hands-on and offers you the chance to work across multiple technical domains while contributing directly to future compressor technologies.
