As Technical Support Specialist, it will be your mission to solve complex technical issues and initiate optimization projects. You will ensure we understand our customer's needs and that we provide the equipment and services to support those needs. You will report to the technical service manager.
We take care of the aftermarket for all mobile products made in Aartselaar, from small compressors and motor drive breakers to high pressure boosters and air treatment systems.
In this role, you will provide second- and third-line technical support, working closely with our teams at customer sites to resolve complex technical challenges. You contribute actively to continuously improving product quality through proactive reporting and follow-up, including the analysis of warranty and failure data and insights from our connected equipment. As a key contributor, you take the lead in technical committee meetings (TCM) and play an active role in product quality meetings (PQM).
You are also closely involved in product development, ensuring excellent serviceability and the lowest lifecycle cost through strong participation in project team meetings (PTM and PCM). In addition, you help shape knowledge excellence by developing and delivering technical trainings, troubleshooting guidelines and digital learning content in line with our divisional strategy. Throughout all of this, you collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across departments and divisions to make a real impact.

- You have bachelor's degree in engineering. A solid experience of minimum 3 years in a similar, technical environment could also be relevant. Both would be ideal.
- You possess technical affinity and preferably also the essential knowledge of compressors and diesel engines.
- You show an intrinsic interest in IoT (Internet of Things), connectivity solutions and alternative power sources such as hybrid drives, VSD, battery technology.
- You are fluent in English, as this is our internal language and necessary for networking and collaboration in multinational teams. Mastering an additional language is considered as a nice bonus.
- You can’t wait to travel and make short international trips as your technical expertise is needed.

Job location
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Power Technique Service Airpower offices in Antwerp, Belgium (BE).This position is posted on the international job market, but local terms and conditions will apply.
