Your role

As a Technology Engineer Calculations - EngineeredSolutions APX, your mission is to support the proposal process to delivered products, ensuring technical excellence, compliance with international standards, and innovative approaches that set our solutions apart.

In addition to your core responsibilities, you will also provide expert support to the project Engineering teams of EngineeredSolutions. Your expertise will help drive collaboration and technical excellence across multiple functions.

You will

• Act as a technical expert within EngineeredSolutions, supporting the development of tailored solutions for customer requirements and new markets.
• Support EngineeredSolutions with calculations, technical assessments, and project feasibility studies.
• Collaborate with other teams in Compressor Technique Business Area to share knowledge, best practices, and technical expertise.
• Research project feasibility and technical concepts in close collaboration with proposal, engineering, and sales engineers.
• Select and calculate machines or components and perform detailed risk analyses for proposals.
• Develop and maintain calculation tools and software to support performance and technical assessments.
• Interpret and apply international and European standards and regulations (ISO, API, PED, ASME, ATEX, machine directive, etc.) throughout the proposal and engineering process.
• Organize and deliver technical training to colleagues within EngineeredSolutions, and other relevant teams.
• Maintain technical documentation, databases, and classification systems relevant to projects.

• Master’s degree in industrial or engineering sciences, or equivalent through experience.
• Experience in a technical or proposal environment.
• Proficiency in English (other languages are an advantage).
• Knowledge of project management, technical products, and proposal processes.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, VB, Matlab
• Understanding safety processes, procedures and systems.
• Customer-oriented problem solver with a passion for technical challenges.
• Able to combine technical knowledge with commercial insight and proposal strategy.
• Eager to learn, accurate, and efficient.
• Open to new ideas and continuous improvement having a growth mindset.
• Able to adapt to a constant changing environment.
