Infrastructure FinOps Practitioner

Your role

You will join the Infrastructure team within the global Solutions organization, operating as part of Group IT Services and partnering closely with teams such as the Cloud Center of Excellence.

Our Azure FinOps practice is beyond “getting started”: the foundation is live (self‑service insights, recurring communications, enablement, and a defined operating rhythm). Your mission is to run and scale the practice: deepen accountability, accelerate value realization, and industrialize automation across the business.

In parallel, you will actively expand the scope beyond cloud FinOps, progressively integrating additional infrastructure cost domains to evolve the practice toward a more holistic infrastructure cost management model.

To succeed, you will need

Experience requirements

• Demonstrated experience in FinOps / cloud cost management: turning spend data into decisions and action
• Strong stakeholder management across engineering + controlling/finance + app owners to drive accountability and adoption
• Comfort running an operational service: cadence, communications, governance, and continuous improvement

Soft Skills

• Self‑driven, objective‑oriented, and well organized
• Team player with a T‑shaped profile and strong learning capability
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset
• Eager to learn
• Comfortable working in a global, enterprise context
• Fluent in written and spoken English

Technical Skills

• Excel skills and PowerPoint proficiency for analysis and stakeholder communication
• Power BI experience for building insights and dashboards (if not, willing to learn it)
• Azure knowledge, with a focus on cost, usage, and governance
• Coding and query skills is a plus (e.g. KQL, Python, or similar) to support analysis, optimization, and automation

• FinOps Practitioner (FinOps Foundation)
• FinOps FOCUS Analyst (FinOps Foundation)
• Azure certifications (AZ‑104 or AZ‑305)

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site
