As a Research and Development Engineer at Edwards Korea Ltd within the Semiconductor Division, you will lead innovation in vacuum technology by designing and developing advanced electrical systems. Your work will directly contribute to the production of state-of-the-art equipment at our PC Asan facility, driving improvements in quality, safety, and sustainability. Your day-to-day

  • Conceptualize and develop electrical systems tailored for next-generation semiconductor equipment.
  • Validate design solutions by rigorously applying scientific and engineering principles.
  • Contribute to project planning by supporting cost-benefit analyses and timelines.
  • Perform detailed analysis of compliance testing data to ensure products exceed regulatory safety and quality benchmarks.
  • Engage in continuous learning to incorporate emerging technologies into product designs.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to optimize production efficiency and product reliability.

Your skills and experience

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical fields preferred.
  • Experience with product development cycles in a manufacturing or production environment, ideally in semiconductor or vacuum technology sectors.
  • Strong problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently and within diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance processes.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively share ideas and results across multiple departments.
