As a Research and Development Engineer at Edwards Korea Ltd, you will lead innovative projects within our Vacuum Technique business area, driving the creation and improvement of next-generation products. Short Description

Join Edwards as a Lead Systems Engineer within our New Product Introduction (NPI) Integrated Systems (HRS) team, based in Asan, Korea. This position focuses on leveraging your expertise in research, design, and development to innovate and enhance our semiconductor vacuum technologies. The role offers an opportunity to contribute directly to advancements that shape industry standards and customer satisfaction.

Your day-to-day

  • Develop and prototype innovative systems and components aligned with product roadmaps and customer requirements.
  • Conduct rigorous scientific analysis and validation of new technologies, ensuring compliance with engineering protocols.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to contribute to product strategies, budgets, and timeline planning, facilitating seamless project execution.
  • Review and interpret safety, quality, and performance data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging trends and technological advances in vacuum and semiconductor engineering to inform future innovation.
  • Ensure engineering outputs meet cost, functional, and scheduling targets through effective project management and stakeholder communication.

Your skills and experience

  • Advanced degree in Engineering, Physics, or related scientific discipline preferred.
  • Proven experience in R&D within semiconductor or vacuum technology sectors.
  • Demonstrated skills in systems engineering, product design, and prototype development.
  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex data and translate insights into viable solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for multidisciplinary teamwork.
