As a Research and Development Engineer at Edwards Korea Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in driving scientific and technological advancements within our Vacuum Technique business area. Your expertise will support the design and development of innovative products that meet rigorous quality, safety, and environmental sustainability criteria. Short Description

Join our team as a Lead Test Engineer (HRS) and take charge in leading test engineering initiatives that support product excellence and reliability in the semiconductor production sector. This role combines hands-on technical work with strategic project leadership, offering an opportunity to influence product lifecycle from concept through to manufacturing readiness within a supportive and dynamic environment.

Your day-to-day

  • Lead the design and execution of comprehensive test plans and protocols for vacuum technology products to ensure compliance with international standards.
  • Collaborate closely with product development teams to integrate testing outcomes into iterative design improvements efficiently.
  • Monitor and analyze performance data to troubleshoot and resolve product and process challenges proactively.
  • Contribute to the development of comprehensive documentation, including reports and test results, facilitating knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Support budget planning and resource allocation for testing activities ensuring efficiency and alignment with project timelines.
  • Keep abreast of emerging trends and technologies in vacuum engineering and semiconductor manufacturing to inform innovation strategies.

Your skills and experience

  • Proven experience in test engineering or R&D roles related to vacuum or semiconductor technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented approach to quality and safety compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and present technical information clearly.
  • Knowledge of scientific research methodologies and product development lifecycle management.
  • Adaptability to rapidly evolving industry trends and willingness to continuously learn and apply new technologies.
