Your role

The main purpose of this Product Manager role is to focus on New platform abatement products to ensure new products meet market requirements, are delivered on time, and support profitable growth. The Product Manager is responsible for maximizing customer value and returns for Edwards, overseeing abatement systems from project approval to product launch and success in this role requires close collaboration with Division, Regional Customer Centres, and Product Companies to execute strategy and support plans.

 

Your main responsiblities will be to:

  • Define and execute NPI product/platform strategy in collaboration with global teams
  • Deliver new product platforms on time, on budget and on cost to help grow revenue base - ensuring alignment with the product roadmap and strategy for the SEMI markets.
  • Create and update marketing materials for new products, for both internal and external use
  • Work collaboratively with Customer Process Marketing teams to ensure comprehensive review, alignment, and formal acceptance of material requirements specifications for new products.
  • Partner with divisional and regional teams, including OEM groups, to identify opportunities for customer trials and evaluations that support the successful market introduction of new products.
  • Engage with Product Company teams to support new product initiatives, maximising product improvement opportunities in accordance with material requirements specifications and other project deliverables.
  • Be knowledgeable on all SEMI applications applying to the products managed.
  • Support regional teams and the division team with product transition plans from legacy to new products to support achievement of goals.
  • Work with service Product Management team and Global Applications Team to support TCOO (Total Cost of Ownership) model development and maintenance as part of the agreed MRS.
  • Be knowledgeable of competitors' products.
  • Accountable for the SAP Material master data ensuring product costing are correct and aligned.

Do you have:

  • A bachelor's degree in physical, chemical sciences, or other equivalent engineering disciplines.
  • Extensive background and relevant experience in the SEMI/DSL industry.
  • Abatement / Integrated Systems experience
  • A demonstrated good ability to work confidently and effectively with data and to present analysis results clearly
  • Experience of prioritising projects, aligning with product and business strategy
  • Familiarity with engineering organisation practices, disciplines, systems and software tools an advantage. Edwards Engineering Change and SAP knowledge would be a benefit.
  • Demonstrable good organisational, time management and personal management skills - Self-reliance and ability to take initiative
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • Fluent spoken and written English/Korean is essential

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Asan Product Centre in Korea.
