Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join Edwards within the Vacuum Technique business area, part of the Semiconductor Division at Edwards Korea Ltd. As a key member of our production company, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability in our products, supporting our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

Role Overview:

In this position, you will focus on quality assurance activities informed by a deep understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and quality assurance processes. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and improving product quality, managing quality documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to uphold rigorous quality standards throughout the production lifecycle.

You will also contribute to cost management initiatives by emphasizing the importance of cost reduction and warranty optimization, thereby supporting the business's financial performance and customer trust.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain Quality Management System procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
• Conduct quality audits, analyze quality data, and identify areas for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues effectively and implement corrective actions.
• Manage warranty data and work proactively to reduce warranty costs through root cause analysis and preventive strategies.
• Prepare detailed quality reports and documentation to support internal and external audits.
• Engage in communication and training initiatives to promote quality awareness throughout the organization.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related computer skills essential for managing quality documentation and reporting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Quality Management Systems and quality assurance methodologies.
• Strong understanding of warranty processes and their impact on business operations.
• Excellent communication skills in English, enabling effective collaboration within a multicultural environment.
