As a Senior Mechanical Engineer within the New Product Introduction (NPI) Integrated Systems team at Edwards Korea Ltd, you will drive the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge mechanical systems tailored for vacuum technology applications. Your day-to-day
- Lead the mechanical design, prototyping, and testing of new integrated systems to support vacuum technology advancements tailored for semiconductor manufacturing.
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to translate technical requirements into robust product designs.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation including design specifications, engineering drawings, and validation reports.
- Monitor project timelines and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market demands.
- Continuously review and incorporate feedback from testing and field performance to enhance product reliability and safety.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements to inform design improvements.
Your skills and experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in mechanical design and development, particularly within vacuum technology or semiconductor equipment sectors.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex engineering projects with attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills focused on product optimization and cost efficiency.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and present technical information clearly.
- Experience with product validation, testing procedures, and quality control processes.
