As a Senior Technologist within Edwards Korea’s Semiconductor Division, you will spearhead the development and enhancement of our High-Resolution Sensor (HRS) and Catalytic Oxidation (CatOX) technologies. Your expertise will be essential in innovating vacuum technique solutions, improving product reliability, and optimizing performance to meet stringent industry demands. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will help drive the evolution of our products in line with cutting-edge scientific advancements. Your day-to-day

• Lead technical initiatives focusing on HRS and CatOX product lines, ensuring alignment with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Develop and refine prototypes through rigorous testing and iterative design improvements.
• Collaborate with product management and marketing to translate customer needs into actionable technology roadmaps.
• Perform detailed analysis of experimental data to validate product performance and safety benchmarks.
• Maintain continuous knowledge of technological trends in vacuum systems and semiconductor process innovation.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence within the R&D team.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to meet defined milestones efficiently.

Your skills and experience

• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD preferred) in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related fields.
• Proven experience in vacuum technology and sensor development, ideally within semiconductor applications.
• Strong understanding of catalytic oxidation principles and associated safety standards.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex R&D projects, from concept through to commercialization.
• Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in data interpretation, modeling, and testing methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Proactive problem-solving mindset with a drive to innovate and improve existing technologies.
