Reporting to the department head of Edwards Korea – PC Asan, you will play a crucial role in driving procurement strategies that support our manufacturing excellence. This position is at the forefront of enhancing supplier relationships and optimizing sourcing processes to ensure the seamless availability of high-quality materials for production, directly impacting our delivery of world-class vacuum technologies.

Your day-to-day

• Develop, evaluate, and execute sourcing strategies specifically tailored to semiconductor industry needs within the Vacuum Technique sector.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and engineering to align procurement objectives with business goals.
• Manage supplier selection, negotiation, and performance to ensure competitive pricing, quality standards, and timely delivery.
• Continuously monitor market trends and supplier capabilities to mitigate risks and identify new opportunities for cost savings and innovation.
• Maintain and update sourcing documentation and procurement records with accuracy and compliance according to company policies.
• Support supplier audits and compliance initiatives to uphold Edwards' commitment to ethical and sustainable sourcing practices.

Your skills and experience

• Proven experience in sourcing or procurement, preferably within the semiconductor manufacturing or vacuum technology industries.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills with a track record of successful contract execution.
• Ability to analyze market trends and apply strategic thinking to sourcing decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
• Fluency in English and Korean is essential due to the regional and international collaboration required.
• Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems is advantageous.
