In this critical role, you will play an essential part in ensuring the highest level of technical service and support for our innovative product lines, contributing to our reputation for excellence and customer satisfaction.
Your Role
- Conduct comprehensive technical investigations into a wide range of product issues to identify root causes and develop effective solutions.
- Focus primarily on supporting HRS-related projects, especially during the initial 1-2 years, providing expert assistance for both factory and field technical concerns.
- Take responsibility for delivering technical solutions and actively participate in customer problem-solving projects, facilitating timely and accurate resolution of challenges.
- Maintain and share deep technical knowledge of our existing products and applications, strengthening the support capabilities of the team and aiding knowledge transfer.
- Provide basic training and mentoring to local engineering staff, fostering professional development and ensuring consistent service quality.
- Continuously monitor and analyze product performance issues through structured problem-solving activities, aiming to drive ongoing product improvements.
- Support cost reduction initiatives by offering valuable technical advice and insights, helping to optimize production and service processes.
- Assist with fit and function testing, including the creation of detailed test plans and comprehensive reports related to validation and reliability assessments.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience: At least 2-4 years of relevant experience in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or vacuum engineering environments, demonstrating competence in technical problem solving, customer interaction, and project delivery.
- Strong understanding of managing time, cost, and quality constraints within engineering projects.
- Proven ability to effectively liaise with internal teams as well as external customers and suppliers.
Skills and Knowledge
- Capability to create technical support objectives and detailed support plans aligned with project requirements.
- Understanding of technical support processes and familiarity with Product Change Processes (PCP).
- Proficient in communicating technical information clearly and professionally, ensuring alignment with customer expectations.
- Competency in using general office software tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel to prepare documentation and presentations.
- Problem-solving experience within an engineering discipline is highly regarded.

- Basic to intermediate proficiency in English to facilitate communication within our global team and international clients.
- Strong communication skills, with a focus on customer and supplier engagement.
