Are You Our Next Proposal Manager?
As a Field Service Proposal Manager, you’ll shape how we win business, support customers, and strengthen service performance. You’ll turn complex technical and commercial information into clear, compelling proposals that Sales can confidently present. Managing the full proposal lifecycle, you’ll interpret RFQs, validate requirements, develop cost estimates, assess risks, and deliver customer‑ready proposals that reflect Atlas Copco’s quality and professionalism. Acting as the central link between Sales, Field Service Managers, product experts, and stakeholders, you’ll ensure proposals are timely, profitable, and aligned with customer expectations.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Deliver accurate, professional proposals within 48 hours to boost response times and win rates
- Ensure pricing accuracy and profitability using cost models, historical data, and SAP tools
- Improve customer satisfaction with tailored, error‑free proposals that clearly communicate value and scope
- Strengthen collaboration across Sales, Service, and technical teams
- Enhance proposal quality through standardized templates and processes
- Reduce risk by documenting deviations and compliance considerations in RFQs & SOWs
- Support growth with insights and data that improve quoting effectiveness
- Drive continuous improvement by streamlining workflows
- Maintain disciplined records for audit readiness and future development
- Uphold Atlas Copco’s reputation for professionalism and customer focus
To succeed, you will need
- 3+ years in proposal development, cost estimation, or technical quoting (industrial/service/manufacturing preferred)
- Strong technical aptitude to interpret scopes, RFQs, and drawings
- Proficiency with pricing tools or quotation systems
- Solid grasp of margin, costing, labor estimation, and profitability principles
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple quotes simultaneously
- Clear, concise written communication for customer‑ready proposals
- Ability to collaborate across functions and influence without authority
- Customer‑centric mindset with a commitment to responsiveness and service excellence
- Continuous improvement orientation in a fast‑paced environment
