As a Key Account Manager you will need to be able to present our value proposition, demonstrate solutions to prove the ROI, and

negotiate at high level management at plant level and Headquarters of global companies.

 

Your roles and responsibilities will vary from Business Development, Personal Development, Communication,and other duties as assigned.

This role will require local travel, and up to  50% overnight travel, more if needed. Working for a global organization, international travel may be required from time to time.

 

Business Development

  • Focus on competitive conversion opportunities for profitable growth and wallet share gain.
  • Build the lifetime value of key strategic customers.
  • Collaborating with sales and leadership to secure, retain, and grow accounts.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans in accordance with corporate goals for a given market segment.
  • Develop new multi-tier relationships with development and assigned key accounts, building executive relationships across the entire account enterprise.
  • Understand the Corporate goals and initiatives of the strategic accounts and apply a consultative approach to co-developing successful solutions supported by key internal stakeholders
  • Identify and pursue specific customer challenges and match solutions that deliver successful value-based outcomes for both parties

Personal Development

  • Update job knowledge (for both products and sales/marketing strategies and skills) by participating in educational opportunities

Communication

  • Maintain opportunity and sales forecasts for selected strategic accounts in North America.
  • Continuously update CRM with all relevant data.
  • Influence and lead an internal cross-functional team (of non-direct reports) to implement company strategy and maintain consistent focus.
  • Communicate effectively with Team Members globally to maintain common focus and goals.

What we expect of you? 

 

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent. Master’s Degree is a plus.

Experience 

  • 10+ yrs. of significant and progressive technical industrial sales experience, corporate accounts management,

            business development responsiblity, or sales in automotive OEM & Tiers 

  • Key Account Manager Experience
  • Proven track record of sales growth year-over-year.
  • Energetic and Proactive experience with customer relations management and willing to engage with C-suite stakeholders
  • History in commercializing new-to-market solutions
  • Expertise in Strategic Thinking and Implementation

Skills

  • Strong Business Acumen and Analysis Skills
  • Ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong process orientation. 

Travel

  • Local Travel, and up to 50% overnight.
