SHEQ Advisor
As a SHEQ Advisor, your mission is to be Responsible for overall SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality) activities within Ash Air and Atlas Copco New Zealand. With support from the management team and the rest of the organisation take ownership of developing, implementing and reviewing when appropriate the company's Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality systems, policies and procedures. You will report to the General Manager.
You will
- Overall responsibility for SHEQ activities; advising managers and employees on SHEQ best practices.
- Support a Health, Safety and Quality culture that promotes sharing and transfer of knowledge and information.
- Definition and creation of modular training packages for internal and external audiences and different target groups.
- Partner with the Business Areas to ensure the company establish, maintain and retain the company ISO triple certification according to current standards.
- Investigate and record all accidents/incidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Keep up to date with the latest legal SHEQ requirements.

- Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality tertiary qualifications or experience gained in a similar SHEQ role within an industrial organization.
- Experience developing, working with and providing input to SHEQ Management Systems.
- A sound knowledge of all three international quality standards.
- Experience of producing technical data relating to SHEQ.
- Able to promote, develop and maintain a culture conducive to quality throughout the organization and to improve its performance.
- Proven track record of positively persuade, convince others to achieve results.
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal language.
- Able to establish and implement a systematic course of action to achieve an objective effectively and efficiently.
- Knowledge of Sharepoint is desirable.
- Driver’s license.
