HR Manager-PC Bangalore

  • Work in partnership with the General Manager to understand future business objectives and develop local HR strategies and solutions that align with global Group and Vacuum Technique HR strategy to meet such objectives
  • Ensure that a high-quality HR service is provided to meet business objectives in each area for which you are responsible
  • Work closely with business leaders and line managers, providing expert HR guidance on a variety of HR matters. In doing so, advise on compliance and risk management issues, providing an appropriate level of challenge where appropriate
  • Attend regular management meetings and actively participate as a member of the leadership team as required in order to ensure provision of HR perspective and expertise to site discussions
  • Support the leaders in developing talent plans as appropriate; develop an own talent pool and share talents with the division. Develop succession plans for critical roles and have always a focus on your talent pool
  • Implement a learning and development plan for all employees and ensure continued learning opportunities including development of career plans for the staff
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements as well as Group rules and closely interact with the Holding
  • Implement the bi-annually Insight/Employee Engagement Survey and ensure that actions are set by managers and follow up the results
  • Ensure there are communication forums in place to represent all employees and ensure the effectiveness of these forums through regular attendance and provision of support and guidance to the forum members and their leaders
  • Be responsible for recruitment and implement a state-of-the art recruitment strategy 
  • Promote global and internal mobility in your organization and ensure the implementation of the mission principle
  • Ensure that monthly payroll is processed in an accurate and timely manner. Ensure that the payroll is always meeting legal requirement
  • Ensure that cyclical HR activity (e.g. annual salary review, VC, talent review, insight survey) is executed effectively and efficiently within area of responsibility

To succeed, you will need

Experience requirements

  • 10 years + experience in HR with the majority of that time spent in a generalist role, preferably in a multinational company. Very good knowledge in all fields of human resources, e.g. recruitment, payroll, learning & development, employee relationship management, compensation & benefits
  • Mandatory skills- 
  • Proven experience in managing union relationships, negotiations, and collective bargaining
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws, compliance regulations, and statutory requirements applicable to the region.
    Ability to resolve disputes and maintain positive industrial relations.

Educational requirements

  • Degree or equivalent post-graduate HR qualification
  • Language
  • The incumbent needs very good English skills, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge
  • Up to date knowledge of appropriate employment legislation and evidence of putting employment law knowledge into practice.
