About the Role

As an Inside Sales Engineer, you will serve as a crucial link between our customers, field sales teams, and internal operations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing customer inquiries, preparing detailed quotations, and providing technical clarifications to support swift and informed customer decisions. You will work collaboratively to qualify leads, coordinate sales activities, and maintain up-to-date records of opportunities and customer interactions in our C4C/CRM system.

This role demands a proactive approach to understanding customer requirements and proposing tailored product and solution configurations that align with their needs and industry standards. You will also play an integral part in supporting slaes team, customer channel partners, and OEM customers with product knowledge and offers, contributing directly to expanding our market footprint.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and accurately to customer inquiries, offering thorough technical and commercial information.
  • Prepare and dispatch quotations, proposals, and tender compliance documentation to customers.
  • Collaborate effectively with field sales teams and internal departments such as supply chain and technical management to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Qualify sales leads and diligently follow up to improve conversion rates and sales outcomes.
  • Maintain comprehensive updates in C4C/CRM for ongoing opportunities, quotations, and customer engagement activities.
  • Provide timely technical clarifications to customers, leveraging insights from the technical manager as needed.
  • Participate actively in marketing campaigns and manage inbound leads in partnership with the marketing team.
  • Analyze tender documents thoroughly and assist in preparing required compliance statements and product selections.
  • Support pricing strategy development by liaising with pricing teams and management.
  • Generate detailed monthly sales reports, pipeline reviews, and sales forecasts to assist management decision-making.
  • Ensure all technical documentation, datasheets, and specifications provided to customers are accurate and up to date.
  • Work closely with the supply chain team to understand lead times, stock availability, and to communicate delivery commitments reliably to customers.
  • Resolve customer issues swiftly by coordinating with appropriate internal teams, enhancing customer trust and loyalty.
  • Engage in continuous learning through product training sessions to keep pace with evolving portfolio enhancements.

Who You Are

  • You possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or Physics, complemented by 2–5 years of relevant experience in inside sales, technical sales, or application engineering. You have a strong technical foundation, particularly in product selection, sizing, and interpreting technical documentation such as drawings and datasheets.
  • Your expertise includes familiarity with sales processes, proposal preparation, tender documentation, and the use of CRM tools such as C4C, as well as SAP systems. You demonstrate excellent communication, customer handling, and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Key skills include an analytical mindset, problem-solving capability, meticulous attention to detail, and proficiency with MS Office applications. You thrive in managing multiple priorities with a high sense of urgency while maintaining quality and accuracy.
