Your Role
- Develop and maintain standard cost structures in compliance with group guidelines.
- Calculate machine hour rates, ensuring accurate cost allocation.
- Prepare and review cost analysis reports covering raw materials, labor, and overheads.
- Conduct variance analysis for overheads and identify improvement opportunities.
- Track and manage cost variances, proposing corrective measures as required.
- Support the preparation of detailed cost estimates for both new and existing products.
- Assess inventory valuation processes and resolve discrepancies effectively.
- Perform regular audits to ensure accuracy in inventory costing.
- Identify inefficiencies in production processes and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Update and maintain cost data in ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365 or equivalent platforms.
- Create and manage comprehensive cost dashboards and reports.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to ensure consistent cost alignment.
- Provide management with actionable insights through accurate and timely cost data.
- Prepare cost audit schedules, coordinate with auditors, and ensure timely filing.
- Drive improvements in internal processes to strengthen cost control and compliance as per Internal Control Financial Reporting
To succeed, you will need
Experience: 10–15 years of experience in cost accounting or financial management, preferably in a manufacturing or MNC environment.
Education: MBA in Finance or a related field
Proficiency in ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, or equivalent tools.
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data visualization tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
