- Supplier Relationship Management
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with key suppliers to ensure the availability and quality of spare parts.
- Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with suppliers, driving value and savings for the organization.
- Monitor supplier performance, holding them accountable to KPIs related to quality, delivery, and cost-effectiveness.
- Sourcing and Localization
- Source and evaluate alternative suppliers, with a focus on those capable of localizing part production, ensuring high availability at the lowest total cost.
- Work closely with Engineering, Inbound Logistics, and other cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with project and operational needs.
- Cost Management and Savings Initiatives
- Develop and implement a strategic approach to cost savings, identifying opportunities across sourcing, negotiation, and supplier partnerships to drive long-term value and achieve annual savings targets.
- Actively support working capital reduction efforts and provide detailed breakdowns of savings, such as material savings, transport savings, and import duty savings
- Collaborate with other Atlas Copco entities for volume leverage and product pricing.
- Take proactive and necessary actions to accomplish objectives, establishing and maintaining effective communication with all relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and successful outcomes.

To succeed, you will need

- Master degree with knowledge of Supply Chain, Business, or Logistics.
- 3+ years of supply chain experience with proven track record.
- Exposure to international business environments and large companies.
- Fluent in English.
- Negotiation Proficiency: The ability to negotiate favourable terms that support Atlas Copco objectives, balancing assertiveness with collaboration to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Effective Communication: Capable of conveying information clearly and concisely across teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth procurement processes and maintain positive supplier relationships.
- Analytical Competence: Skilled in using data analysis tools to interpret purchasing data, monitor inventory trends, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- ERP & Data Analytics Proficiency: Experienced in leveraging ERP systems and data analytics tools to manage purchasing workflows, analyse vendor performance, and optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Excel Expertise: Advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis functions, to support purchasing decisions and reporting.
- Supply Chain Knowledge: Understands key supply chain principles and logistics considerations within spare parts distribution, including inventory management, lead times, and supplier reliability.
- Customer-Focused Approach: Recognizes the impact of purchasing on internal and external customers, with an emphasis on meeting quality and delivery standards to support business needs.
