Team Leader - Apps & Software Development
Your role
We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Team Leader to head a multidisciplinary team working on Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), SharePoint, and RPA (e.g., Power Automate Desktop, UIPath, etc.). This leadership role combines hands-on expertise with strategic thinking to drive solution development, process automation, and digital transformation for stakeholders.
Team Leadership & Delivery Oversight:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of developers, analysts, and solution architects across Power Platform, SharePoint, and RPA domains.
Ensure timely, quality-driven delivery of projects, enhancements, and support operations.
Allocate team resources effectively and manage workload balancing, prioritization, and issue resolution.
Solution Development & Architecture
- Guide the team in designing low-code/no-code solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Provide governance and best practices on SharePoint Online design, permissions, and integrations.
- Supervise development of RPA bots to automate repetitive business processes and optimize workflows.
- Ensure alignment of technical solutions with business requirements and IT standards.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the key point of contact for business users, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals and outcomes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business process owners.
Process Improvement & Innovation
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in digital process automation and citizen development.
- Promote usage of reusable components, templates, and automation libraries across teams.
Compliance & Governance
- Implement strong governance over environments, access control, and data policies within the Power Platform ecosystem.
- Ensure audit readiness, proper documentation, and security compliance across all solutions.
To succeed, you will need
- Bachelor's/master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in IT with minimum 3+ years in team leadership roles.
- Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
- SharePoint Online & SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
- RPA tools – Power Automate Desktop, UIPath, or similar
- Experience with Agile delivery and DevOps practices.
- Strong interpersonal, team management, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management and executive reporting.
- Microsoft certifications (PL-900, PL-100, PL-200, PL-400, or equivalent)
- Experience in integrating Power Platform with external systems (via APIs, Dataverse, SQL)
- Familiarity with AI Builder, Copilot in Power Apps, and intelligent document processing

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Atlas Copco in Bangalore.
