Join Atlas Copco Power Technique as South Region BDM PAL – Power and Lights and lead business growth across a dynamic multi-country region. This is a senior commercial leadership role for a candidate who combines strategic market development, strong customer focus, and people leadership to grow the Power and Lights business and strengthen our position in key industrial segments.

About the role

As South Region BDM PAL – Power and Lights, you will be responsible for developing and executing the commercial strategy for the PAL business across South Region East Europe South, including CZ, SVK, HUN, Ex-YU, ALB, GR, CYP, BUL, ROM, and Israel. Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead a team of sales professionals and territory managers while working closely with divisional and local stakeholders to deliver sustainable business growth.

This role sits within Atlas Copco Power Technique, a business area focused on portable air, power and flow solutions, including generators, energy storage systems, pumps, and light towers. The position plays a key role in strengthening market presence, building long-term customer relationships, and ensuring the business is the first choice for customers in the region. .

What you will do

  • Develop and execute the PAL strategy across the South Region, translating divisional goals into clear commercial priorities and action plans.
  • Drive sales growth, profitability, pricing strategy, and market development across direct and indirect sales channels.
  • Build strong relationships with key customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to strengthen Atlas Copco’s market position.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of salespeople, Business Development Managers, and territory or sales managers.
  • Own the sub-regional go-to-market approach for key segments, including energy, construction, industrial applications, and power and light solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with service, marketing, back office, logistics, controlling, and other business line leaders to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Support business planning and performance management through monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews, reporting, and follow-up of key business indicators.
  • Contribute actively as a member of the management team, supporting change management, organizational development, and cross-functional alignment.

What we are looking for

  • Master’s degree, diploma, or equivalent higher education.
  • Proven track record in commercial leadership, business development, and people management.
  • Strong experience in industries such as construction, energy supply, deep hole drilling, oil and gas, or flow-related applications.
  • Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate market opportunities into business results.
  • Experience leading teams across complex markets or multiple countries is highly valued.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Confidence using digital tools and working in a data-informed commercial environment.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
