Inside Sales Engineer
- Partner with regional sales, service teams, and operations to deliver growth across your territories
- Build strong customer relationships and act as a key contact for aftersales support and service solutions
- Provide first-line technical and commercial support to customers and sales teams
- Generate, qualify, and manage leads, driving them through to order conversion
- Prepare quotations, support tenders, and follow up on opportunities to improve win rates
- Identify and develop opportunities for service agreements, supporting proposals and customer presentations
- Manage and grow relationships with resellers, distributors, and key partners
- Proactively identify new business opportunities and re-engage inactive customers
- Support marketing campaigns, events, and customer initiatives
- Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline management in C4C/CRM
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and share market and competitor insights
- Participate in customer visits where required
To succeed, you will need
-
- Experience in inside sales, customer service, or a similar commercial role. Experience in vacuum technology or a similar industrial environment is an advantage
- Degree in Engineering, Business, or Science (or equivalent experience)
- Strong communication skills and confidence in managing customer interactions (phone and digital channels)
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and internal stakeholders
- A proactive and results-driven mindset with a focus on identifying sales opportunities
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail, especially in managing sales data and documentation
- Familiarity with CRM systems and customer data management (e.g. SAP C4C) is desiderable
- Team-oriented approach with the ability to collaborate across functions
- Willingness to learn and develop product and market knowledge.
