Basic Responsibilities and objectives

  • Support the service team and the customers with expert advice to provide prompt servicing, maintenance, diagnoses andrepairs on all Atlas Copco products at customer sites, by phone/mail or directly in the field as required;
  • Administrates technical trainings and provides training for the service engineers and technicians, also for Service Salesengineers, Internal Sales and Service Planner;
  • Administrates the warranty intervention activities and reports them according to the procedures of the manufacturer and theinternal procedures;
  • Administrates the activity for implementing the modifications required by the factory and reports them back (ECB handling);
  • Administrates and takes care for providing right tools needed according to equipment population and specific service jobs;
  • Provides communication with the departments regarding the technical service activity;
  • Settles and maintains relations with suppliers and with regional dealers and subcontractors;
  • Provides and maintains the relation with the customers, during all the stages of the cooperation with them;
  • Checks the stocks and the possibilities to make the deliveries in due time, prior to providing technical solutions;
  • Ensures of the observance of the agreement provisions existing between the Company and the customer;
  • Cooperate closely with the Sales team and take part in equipment installations;
  • Train and support operators on the customers side in the general operations of their machines.
  • Support sales of service, spare parts, service plans, compressors and contacts. Provide the necessary technical advice andreassurance to the customers;
  • Specify and order spare parts for service orders;
  • Be in daily contact together with Service Planner inform, plan and organize daily and weekly visit schedules for the fieldservice engineers as per incident and prioritize time between customer visits, on the job training and support and classroomtraining;
  • Be aware of, and apply, Health and Safety regulations in the Service Centre and on site;
  • Apply good standards of engineering practice and Atlas Copco procedures at all times;
  • Provide Service Worksheets immediately after the finished works, recommend required parts an follow up the delivery andrepair;
  • Provide Timesheets regularly according AC requirements;
  • Use and maintain correct tools, test instruments and service car, to ensure they remain in good condition
  • Attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills;
  • Effectively promote the Atlas Copco Compressor company image and culture. Always follow the company dress code(working and civil);
  • Workshop responsible – to provide that workshop has all necessary

 

Experience requirements

 

  • An experienced Service Technician with at least 5 years of experience in relevant technical field, preferably of compressedair, or qualified to work in electrical field and automation;
  • This is a high-ranking position between employees and customers thus it needs experience in communication, conflictresolution and management;
  • A proven track record in people management and the market is a must;
  • Knowledge
  • Sound CT Product Knowledge and Improvement;
  • Knowledge of English is a must;
  • PC/IT knowledge;
  • Educational requirements
  • Technical education (finalized by examination) or a polytechnic degree with several hours of on the job trainings andspecialized technical seminars;
