Mission:
Job description:
Service Operations
- Lead daily service operations, including planning, scheduling, dispatching, and field service execution.
- Ensure efficient utilization of service resources and timely delivery of services.
- Manage service workload, backlog, and work-in-progress (WIP) to meet operational targets.
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop Field Service Engineers, Service Managers, planners, coordinators, and support teams.
- Foster a performance-driven, safety-focused, and customer-centric culture.
- Drive employee performance, capability development, and succession planning.
Performance Management
- Monitor and drive service KPIs, including:
- Response and turnaround time
- First-time fix rate
- Technician productivity and utilization
- WIP and backlog management
- Customer satisfaction
- Implement corrective actions to improve operational performance.
Customer & Business Support
- Ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Support the resolution of complex customer issues and service escalations.
- Contribute to service revenue growth and operational profitability.
Process & Systems
- Ensure effective use of service management systems, ERP, and CRM tools (SAP preferred).
- Utilize operational dashboards and data analytics to support decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across service operations.
To succeed, you will need
Experience:

Minimum 8–12 years of experience in service operations, after-sales service, or industrial service environments.

At least 5 years of leadership experience managing service teams and operational functions

Proven experience in managing field service operations, planning, scheduling, and customer support functions
-
Experience within industrial equipment, compressors, air systems, power equipment, automation, or related industries is highly preferred.

Experience managing service contracts, maintenance agreements, and aftermarket service activities is an advantage.umen.
Knowledge:
-
Strong understanding of field service operations and maintenance practices
-
Demonstrated experience in service planning, workforce scheduling, and dispatch management
-
Strong knowledge of KPI management and operational performance measurement.

Proficiency in ERP and CRM platforms (SAP preferred)

Experience utilizing business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI
-
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Strong communication, stakeholder management, and customer relationship management capabilities.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or equivalent)
Nice to Have
- Experience in compressor, industrial equipment, or technical aftermarket service businesses.
- Exposure to remote monitoring and digital service solutions (e.g., SmartLink or similar platforms).
- Background in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience managing multi-site or nationwide service operations.
