Field Service Engineer

Your role
Join our Process Chiller Solutions team and play a key role in keeping our customers’ industrial cooling systems running at their best. As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll use your technical expertise to maintain, service, and support process chillers and associated equipment, including pumps, inverters, tanks, and controllers.
Your work will directly contribute to operational uptime, efficiency, and outstanding customer satisfaction.
- Carry out routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on chiller systems at customer sites.
- Diagnose performance issues, identify root causes, and deliver effective solutions.
- Support the installation, commissioning, and start-up of new equipment.
- Use company tools and software to accurately record all service activities.
- Maintain detailed notes on maintenance tasks, repairs, parts used, and customer interactions.
- Represent the Atlas Copco and Eurochiller brands with professionalism and integrity.
- Build strong, positive relationships with customers and respond promptly to their needs.
- Follow all safety guidelines and site protocols.
- Keep your knowledge up to date on chiller and refrigeration technologies, including controls and automation.
- Be available for occasional overtime, particularly during urgent or critical situations.
To succeed, you will need

- Experience in mechanical or electrical service.
- Mechanical or electrical qualifications (experience-based pathways also considered).
- Valid UK or international driving licence (within 12 months).
- Comfortable using computer systems and learning new software.
- Experience within an FGAS-authorised organisation.
- Background in refrigeration and thermal systems.
- Strong understanding of pumps, chillers, and heat exchangers.
