Depending on your chosen apprenticeship, your programme will typically last between two and four years, combining structured learning with hands-on experience in the workplace. You will learn from experienced colleagues, develop practical and professional skills, and take on real responsibilities as you progress. With dedicated support and development throughout your apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to build your confidence and create strong foundations for your future career.

Main Responsibilities –

• Support Manufacturing Engineers with continuous improvement activities across the factory. 
• Assist in identifying opportunities to improve safety, quality, delivery and productivity. 
• Learn how manufacturing processes, equipment and systems are developed and maintained. 
• Assist with the introduction of new tooling, fixtures and manufacturing methods. 
• Supporting manufacturing engineering tasks and projects alongside colleagues while developing technical knowledge and practical skills. 
• Assisting with manufacturing engineering investigations, improvement activities and project work under the guidance of experienced engineers. 
• Supporting testing, validation and problem-solving activities while learning engineering best practices. 
• Working with production, quality, supply chain and a variety of engineering teams to understand how manufacturing improvements are introduced successfully.
