About the Role

We're looking for a SHEQ & HR Coordinator to support SHEQ compliance and HR administration across Atlas Copco. Reporting to the SHEQ & HR Manager, you'll play a key role in maintaining systems, records and documentation, supporting safety initiatives and audits, and assisting with onboarding and employee administration.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration skills who is looking to develop their career across both SHEQ and HR.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate SHEQ administration, compliance reporting, audits and safety initiatives.

  • Maintain safety systems, registers, records and controlled documentation.

  • Support incident reporting, corrective actions, compliance evidence and training records.

  • Prepare reports, presentations, internal communications and business documentation.

  • Assist with onboarding, employment documentation, employee records and HR systems.

  • Ensure SHEQ and HR documentation remains accurate, compliant and up to date.

  • Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

 

To succeed, you will need

  • Experience in SHEQ, WHS, compliance, HR administration, business support or a similar role.

  • Certificate IV or higher in WHS, Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field, or a willingness to undertake further study.

  • Exposure to compliance systems, incident management, document control and administrative processes.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and confidence learning new systems.

  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain confidentiality.

  • A proactive approach and genuine interest in safety, compliance, people support and continuous improvement.
