Short Description

As a Credit and Collection Specialist, you will oversee credit evaluation, manage receivables, and foster positive relationships with customers to secure timely payments. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic corporate finance environment where your expertise will help optimize cash flow and reduce credit risk.

Your day-to-day

  • Assess customer creditworthiness through detailed analysis and risk assessment.
  • Manage collections activities to ensure timely receipt of payments while maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Monitor outstanding invoices and identify overdue accounts for proactive follow-up.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve disputes and discrepancies effectively.
  • Prepare detailed reports on credit risks, receivables, and collection progress for management review.
  • Continuously improve credit policies and collection procedures in line with best practices and regulatory requirements.

Your skills and experience

  • Proven experience in credit management, collections, or related finance functions.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail when assessing credit risk.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and internal teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Proficiency with financial software and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of local regulations and compliance standards within the Colombian market is advantageous.
