You will be an integral member of the Corporate Units team within Atlas Copco Colombia Ltda, reporting to the Finance Department lead. In this role, your mission is to effectively manage the credit and collections process, ensuring timely payments and maintaining strong customer relationships. Your efforts will directly contribute to the financial health and success of our company by optimizing cash flow and minimizing credit risk.

Your day-to-day
- Monitor customer accounts to identify payment risks and overdue balances.
- Communicate proactively with customers to ensure timely collections while preserving positive relationships.
- Maintain accurate records of credit limits, payment terms, and collection activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as sales and legal to resolve disputes and implement credit policies effectively.
- Prepare regular reports on collection status and outstanding invoices for management review.
- Assist in credit risk assessments to support informed decision-making on new and returning customers.
Your skills and experience
- Proven experience in credit management, collections, or a related financial role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with diverse customer profiles.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial records and transactions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of Colombian credit regulations and market practices is an advantage.
