Your role

As a Sales Development Representative, your key mission is to actively generate and qualify new business opportunities to support the growth objectives of our Corporate Units within the dynamic market of Bogotá. You will play an essential role in building a robust sales pipeline and facilitating strong customer relationships through diligent prospecting and lead management.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct thorough research to prepare and understand prospects, identifying key potential clients and assessing their needs to tailor your outreach accordingly.
  • Engage in daily outreach via phone calls and digital communication channels to capture interest and qualify prospects, fostering initial engagement with potential customers.
  • Create and maintain accurate records of new leads, capturing relevant information from interactions and ongoing research to enable effective follow-up and conversion by the sales team.
  • Evaluate leads critically to assess their suitability, interest level, and readiness for advancement within the sales process, ensuring high-quality opportunities are prioritized.
  • Deliver qualified leads promptly and efficiently to sales representatives, supporting seamless handover and maximizing successful closing rates.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to continuously refine prospecting strategies and enhance lead generation methods.
  • Support broader business objectives by providing insights on market trends and customer feedback gathered during outreach activities.

You will be expected to exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills, manage multiple priorities effectively, and adapt to a fast-paced, results-driven environment. Your proactive approach will be critical in driving sales success and contributing to our overall business growth.

To succeed, you will need

  • Have at least 2 years of experience in sales or business development roles, ideally within industrial or technical markets.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational abilities, capable of juggling multiple prospects and priorities efficiently.
  • Possess experience using CRM platforms and sales enablement tools to track interactions and manage prospect data (preferred).
  • Have a good understanding of industrial equipment markets or technical sales environments, which will be advantageous.
